This Mediterranean home north of San Francisco needed a refresh of the gardens. We took a whimsical, artful approach while respecting the graciousness of the architecture and the heritage oaks dotting the site. An existing collection of art was incorporated into a tropical garden around the pool, a generous children’s play area was constructed, and an understated planting plan was designed for the entire compound.
